The Salvation Army of North Texas’ signature fundraising event returns in spring 2022

Save the Date: Friday, June 17, 2022
Event Chairs: Bo Brinkmann, Talley Hodges, Elizabeth Hunt

Join us at our 10th Annual Echelon Gala Fete!

Held at The Perot Museum, the black tie event gathers young professionals for music, drinks, bites, and dancing to raise vital funds and awareness for The Salvation Army of North Texas' services across Dallas, Tarrant and Ellis, and Denton and Collin counties.

The doors open for cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m. The gala portion of the evening kicks off at 9 p.m. Tickets are now available for purchase.

Echelon seeks to mobilize the next generation for The Salvation Army by providing opportunities for young adults to engage with the organization through fellowship and networking, donations and fundraising, and service and volunteering.

The reality is that thousands of North Texans are still recovering from pandemic poverty: the economic instability brought by COVID-19. According to the Census Bureau Household Pulse Survey, 660,000 North Texans expected someone in their household to have a loss in employment or income earlier this year, an estimated 319,000 North Texans are behind on rent or mortgage payments, nearly 200,000 are at risk of eviction or foreclosure, nearly 400,000 are experiencing food insecurity, and more than 1 million are unable to pay their energy bills.

Proceeds from the fundraising event will help us provide services to our North Texas neighbors combatting poverty, addiction, and homelessness.
