About the Angel Tree Program

In North Texas, tens of thousands of children, seniors, and adults with special needs are in need of adopting each year. Angel Tree serves as a symbol of hope, ensuring families and individuals can experience the joy of Christmas morning despite their financial situation. The Salvation Army’s annual holiday tradition relies on the generosity of the public to ensure our most vulnerable neighbors have gifts to be placed under the tree. 

Thanks to the generosity of the community, each holiday season we are able to make Christmas morning possible for tens of thousands of families and individuals across the region who are facing greater hardship than ever before.

Applications for the Angel Tree Program Will

Open on September 14 at 9 AM

Families who are experiencing a financial burden and want to apply for Christmas assistance must complete the application process online.

Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. Gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family tree, making Christmas brighter for all those in need.

Application Requirements

  • Applicant primary identification 
    • Acceptable forms are drivers license, state ID, passport, residency card
  • Proof of income for ALL household members
    • Acceptable forms of proof of income are 2 recent paystubs, current benefit award letter, income tax form, bank statements, etc.
  • Proof of the following living expenses
    • Rent or mortgage agreement, utility bill (water or electric)
  • Proof of age and address for each child being registered as an Angel
    • Acceptable forms of proof of age are birth certificates, school records, etc.
    • Acceptable forms of proof of address are a rental contract, current benefit award letter, school records, medical records, etc.
