In Dallas-Fort Worth, Thousands Sought Shelter From The Freezing Temperatures

The Salvation Army of North Texas served 864 people across its warming centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. 

From Monday to Tuesday night, the nonprofit’s locations in Garland, Denton, Arlington, and Fort Worth saw an increase in the number of individuals served.

The Garland location has seen an increase in people served every night since Friday, said Raegan Lucido, a spokesperson for The Salvation Army of North Texas.
