For more than 130 years, The Salvation Army of North Texas has demonstrated a proven history of doing the most good for the most people. As the region's largest social service provider, our impact radiates across North Texas.
While much of North Texas is flourishing, many are left behind. The needs are particularly acute in Dallas County, but we face a battle across multiple fronts.

NORTH TEXANS ARE EXPERIENCING FOOD INSECURITY, AND 115,000 ARE AT RISK OF EVICTION.

2 MILLION
NORTH TEXAS ADULTS HAVE DIFFICULTY AFFORDING BASIC HOUSEHOLD NEEDS.
To help our neighbors in crisis and meet the growing demand for our services, we developed a comprehensive strategic plan with bold goals to revolutionize our people, programs, partnerships, and places to advance the well-being of North Texans for decades to come. This visionary campaign will drive maximum impact and sustainable growth, enabling us to more than double the number of individuals and families lifted out of homelessness each year.
As the cornerstone of the campaign, we will create a new flagship campus on a generously donated 21-acre parcel of land, designed to provide centralized, high-capacity services. The Salvation Army of North Texas Dallas Social Service Center will feature emergency shelter, recovery programs, and family services, and will act as a hub for our enhanced programs and services, expanding our scope across North Texas. By addressing multiple needs under one roof, The Salvation Army aims to set a new standard for integrated social services, serving as a model for the region while fostering community engagement through volunteer opportunities and partnerships. This initiative reflects The Salvation Army's mission to serve without discrimination, reduce barriers to assistance, and provide comprehensive, life-changing support.
You are integral to our transformative plan, which centers around three growing challenges: poverty, addiction, and homelessness. This campaign is a long-term investment in the community, ensuring the sustainability of enhanced facilities and programs for generations to come. Join us today and become part of a renewed vision for North Texas. Together, we are one army across many fronts.

Grinding poverty often passes from one generation to the next. Your support helps us offer clients spaces, programs, and services to alleviate poverty with sustainable steps forward.
Any number of factors can lead to addiction for neighbors near you, which tears at the fabric of families. Your support helps clients fight addiction and paves the way to a fresh start through evidence-based programs.
Hundreds of thousands of North Texans struggle with poverty each year, falling behind on rent or turning to high-interest lenders. The homelessness that results traumatizes those affected, especially children. Your support helps clients rise above economic instability and homelessness to self-sufficiency through our housing services, safe shelters that keep families intact, and innovative programming.
