Tarrant County Inspiring Hope Luncheon

An annual opportunity for community members to raise vital funds and awareness to support our Tarrant County neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army of North Texas’ signature fundraising event returns in spring 2022

Save the Date: Wednesday, May 18, 2022
Event Chairs: Karen and Larry Anfin

The Salvation Army of North Texas is again teaming up with the Dallas Cowboys for the annual Inspiring Hope Luncheon on May 18, 2022, to help support the ongoing needs of those in Tarrant County.

The Inspiring Hope Luncheon makes its return at AT&T Stadium from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m after two years of cancellations caused by the pandemic. As one of The Salvation Army of North Texas’ signature fundraising events, the luncheon raises vital funds to help North Texas neighbors combatting poverty, addiction, and homelessness. Proceeds from the fundraising event will support The Salvation Army’s operations across Tarrant County, which includes corps community centers and programs in the area such as the North Texas Youth Education Town, Family Life Center, J.E. & L.E. Mabee Social Service Center, and Northside Corps Community Center.

Luncheon chairs Karen and Larry Anfin welcome former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Drew Pearson, as the keynote speaker at the event. Pearson—a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021, author of “Remembering Texas Stadium,” and motivational speaker—has a longstanding history of volunteerism with The Salvation Army and commitment to service in the North Texas community.

“We are honored to be able to gather in-person again for such an important fundraising event with the help of our friends at the Dallas Cowboys. Events like these are critical for The Salvation Army to raise awareness of the needs facing our most vulnerable neighbors,” said Major Todd Hawks, area commander of The Salvation Army of North Texas. “Thanks to the generosity of our advocates, partners, and donors, we are able to provide shelter and support services across Tarrant County all year long. We encourage North Texans to join us at AT&T Stadium in May or to make a donation to make a difference.”
